Terms of Service
Effective October 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of Battle Buddy (battlebuddyvet.com), an AI companion built by Sentient Systems Labs. By creating an account or using Battle Buddy, you agree to them.
What Battle Buddy is, and is not
- Battle Buddy helps you remember things, organize documents, keep a calendar and reminders, and find general information about VA benefits from va.gov.
- It is not a doctor, a lawyer, an accredited VA representative, or an emergency or crisis service. It does not file claims for you.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
- AI can make mistakes. Check anything important (dates, deadlines, amounts, medical or legal details) against the original document or with the VA, your doctor, or a Veterans Service Officer.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The information you add is yours. You can delete all of it at any time with “Delete everything” on the Me page. Our Privacy Policy explains how it is kept and protected.
Fair use
Don’t use Battle Buddy to break the law, to upload material you have no right to share, to try to get into anyone else’s account, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Connected services
If you connect Google Calendar, Google’s own terms also apply to your Google account. You can disconnect at any time.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Battle Buddy running and your information safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or change. Don’t rely on it as your only reminder for something critical. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
Limits of responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sentient Systems Labs is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using Battle Buddy, including missed appointments or deadlines, or decisions made based on its answers.
Ending your use
You can stop using Battle Buddy and delete everything at any time.
